With the establishment of the RIFETECH® Academy, Holistic Medicine Berlin GmbH has created a platform that supports and trains doctors, naturopaths, and therapists in the professional use of the RIFETECH® Plasma Device. A key element of this academy is the Scientific Advisory Board.
The Academy team continuously offers webinars and in-person events. Experienced physicians with extensive clinical expertise are available to share their practical knowledge from everyday medical practice. This ensures that both newcomers and experienced users gain access to proven treatment concepts for successful therapy, helping to bridge the gap between science and practice.
The Scientific Advisory Board currently consists of four renowned experts, united by their knowledge and practical experience.

Harald Walach is a clinical psychologist (degree in 1985, PhD in 1992, habilitation in 1998) and philosopher (PhD in philosophy of science and history of science in 1995). He works as a Professorial Research Fellow at the Next Society Institute at Kazimieras Simonavicius University and is the founder and director of the Change Health Science Institute.
Previously, he taught at the Poznan University of Medical Sciences as well as at the European University Viadrina. He also served as a research professor at the University of Northampton.
His research focuses not only on the evaluation of complementary medical methods, but also on the interface between consciousness and health. He has published more than 200 peer-reviewed research papers, over 100 book chapters, and 16 books.
He led the observational study, and its results were published internationally.
Stefan Hockertz first studied biology at the Leibniz University Hannover and later completed his habilitation in medicine with a focus on toxicology and pharmacology. Today, as an immunologist, pharmacologist, and toxicologist, he is the managing partner of [tpi consult AG](https://www.tpi-consult.ch/?utm_source=chatgpt.com) in Switzerland, one of Europe’s leading toxicological and pharmacological technology consultancies.
Previously, he worked at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, most recently as Director and Professor of Molecular Immunotoxicology at the Institute of Experimental and Clinical Toxicology. He was also a member of the board of the Fraunhofer Institute for Toxicology and Experimental Medicine and a researcher at the Fraunhofer Society.
Prof. Hockertz was appointed as a “Eurotox Registered Toxicologist” and holds certification as Head of Manufacturing and Head of Quality Control in accordance with Sections 15.1 and 15.3 of the German Medicines Act.
Dr. Heinisch-Röchert completed her medical training at the Medical University of Vienna and at the Vienna General Hospital (AKH). Alongside her clinical work, she was also involved in scientific research in the fields of internal medicine and clinical pharmacology, as well as in academic teaching.
In Berlin, she initially worked as Senior Consultant and Head Physician at an international private clinic and in private practice. At the same time, she dedicated herself intensively to functional and integrative medicine, with an evidence-based focus on mitochondrial medicine, the microbiome, multisystem and environmental illnesses, as well as modern preventive medicine.
As co-founder of an Inuspherese®-Center in Berlin, Dr. Heinisch-Röchert helped establish one of the leading centers for modern extracorporeal detoxification procedures.
In her current private medical practice there, she combines clinical environmental medicine, functional medicine, and personalized diagnostics to better understand and sustainably treat complex diseases at their root cause.
Marco Schmidt holds a doctorate (Dr. rer. nat.) in sports biology. He currently works in his own practice and as a lecturer in theoretical sports medicine, applied kinesiology, and applied immunology.
He served as sports biology advisor to the German men’s national judo team and today supports athletes from the Hertha BSC football academy and other clubs. From 2005 to 2010, Marco Schmidt worked as a research associate at the University of Potsdam Institute of Sports Medicine and Prevention. He later founded the Akademie Dr. Schmidt and developed the Medizin3Punkt0© curriculum, focusing on chronic and multisystem diseases as well as “Applied Immunology.”
Dr. Schmidt has particular expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system, as well as in the field of applied immunology.
His practice for “Functional and Biological Medicine” is located in the center of Potsdam.
